The discovery of Katipunan started with one person telling the secret to another. It was only one day and the secret had already spread. In the morning theodoro patino got jealous of his workmate Apolonio because of a rise in pay. So patino went to his sister Honoria for comfort. But he ended up tell the secret. Since his sister was a nunn she worked with other religous people. Because the secret was so big she told it to a fellow friend called Sor Teresa de Jesus .so Teresa told Honoria to have confession .As she confessed to Padre Mariano Gil she told the secret. And so Miriano told a more high people. Thus the Katipunan was discovered by the Spaniards
Sigaw ng Pugadlawin
Because the secret of Katipunan had been told .Many Katipuneros were being captured. Now Bonifacio was pressured all the more when the weapons he had ordered hadn't arrived yet. When the Spaniards capture a katipuneros they will torture them until he or she gives them some information. Because Bonifacio was pressured so much he called all the katipuneros and decided to have an emergency meeting. At the meeting Bonifacio told everyonehat they were going to start the revolution. He told them to get there sedula's (a form of I.D and Tax) out and rip it up. While they did that they said "Mabuhay ng Pilipinas". This was the event that started the revolution called the sigaw ng Pugadlawin.
